If Seraphis looks hard enough he can see into the egg, past all the other eggs that didn't make it and were turned into guards that clustered around the egg like an armor.
The development was fast, the combination of the two ancient bloodlines was creating its own new breed, it already was in form, it's little tail wiggling in the dark vicious fluid. It's eyes were open in the egg, it cannot see yet. Little horns were forming from it's shape, the legs and feet seem to be made out of a fluid of shadows and ichor with little tendrils absently moving around the egg. It is forming thoughts already and it speaks of hunger, more fuel to grow just base thoughts for now as but it can feel the love of its parents and that seems to accelerate it's growth rate. The dark little creature is at times twitching in the egg , at this rate it could be a week or so before it is fully formed.
